About The Commander Dry Slide

At 8 metres high, The Commander is taller than most two-storey houses and the tallest inflatable in the Jump About range. It measures 10 metres long by 6 metres wide, with a single high-speed lane and a genuine drop at the top. School fetes, milestone birthdays, church fairs, and corporate team days all suit The Commander.

Because The Commander needs no water, it works year-round. Autumn and winter parties are fine. School fetes in Terms 2 and 3, community events, and any outdoor gathering where a water slide is not practical are all solid fits. No hose connection and no wet cleanup required.

Delivery and setup

We handle setup and pack down. Our team arrives before the event, inflates The Commander with commercial blowers, secures it with stakes on flat grass, places safety mats at entry and exit, and does a final safety check. When the hire ends, we come back, deflate the slide, and pack it away. Setup and pack down are in the hire price.

You provide a flat grassed area of at least 12 metres by 8 metres, a vehicle access path wide enough for our truck, and a site clear of overhanging branches and hard objects.

We deliver to more than 340 suburbs across the Central Coast, Newcastle, and Hunter Valley. Representative areas include Gosford, Terrigal, Erina, Tuggerah, The Entrance, Charlestown, Maitland, and Cessnock. Delivery is a separate fee selected by suburb at checkout. Fees start at $60 for nearby Central Coast suburbs.

We check every inflatable before each hire. The Commander stands 8 metres high, placing it above the 4-metre platform threshold for large inflatable safety inspections under Australian standards. Jump About holds current compliance documentation for this slide and all large inflatables in the range. We carry $20 million public liability insurance on every hire. Riders should remove shoes, glasses, and any pointed objects from pockets before climbing. Adult supervision is required at all times. In high winds or storms, we will contact you to reschedule.
