Hiring a jumping castle, water slide or food machine with Jump About takes four steps. We deliver, set up, pack down and collect. You pick the date and the suburb. Here's how it works end to end.

Step 1 — Browse the range

We've got 81 products live across 7 categories. Every product page shows the dimensions, age suitability, what's included and the hire price for all three durations.

Step 2 — Pick your date and duration

Every product comes in three hire durations:

  • 4 hours — fits a typical 2–4 pm birthday party with time on each side
  • Full day (9 am to 4 pm) — for school fetes, day-long events
  • 24 hours — set up afternoon-before, collected the day after, deflated overnight

Some interactive games (Bucking Bull, Mechanical Surfboard) use a 2-hour base rate plus an hourly rate after that. Each product page shows the exact pricing.

Popular weekends fill up first — for school holidays (January, April, July, October) and peak party season (September to March), book at least 2 to 3 weeks ahead. For weekdays and off-peak weekends, a few days' notice is usually fine. Same-day bookings sometimes work — phone us to check.

Step 3 — Book online and pay

Add the inflatable to your cart, pick the date, and head to checkout. At checkout you'll enter your suburb to see your delivery fee. The total you pay is the hire price plus the delivery fee — no other charges.

  • GST-free — Jump About is not registered for GST, so the price you see is the price you pay

Step 4 — We deliver, set up, and pack down

On the day of your hire our team rolls up to your address with the inflatable, the blower, stakes (for grass) or sandbags (for hard surfaces), and safety mats. We set up the inflatable in the spot you've picked, do a safety check, and give you a 5-minute walkthrough on how to keep the kids safe during the hire.

Before we arrive, please:

  • Clear the setup site of debris, sticks, rocks and pet waste
  • Make sure there's enough flat space (1 metre of clearance on every side of the inflatable's footprint)
  • Make sure we have safe vehicle access
  • Have a household 240V power point within 25 metres of the setup spot — or arrange a generator with us in advance

At the end of the hire we come back, deflate, pack down and collect. For 24-hour hires we deflate overnight and either re-inflate the next morning or you do, following the instructions our team gives you.

  • The electric blower (runs throughout the hire)
  • Stakes for grass setup or sandbags for hard surfaces
  • Professional setup and safety check on arrival
  • Pack down and collection at the end of the hire
  • Safety mats at entry and exit points
  • $20 million public liability insurance

The only extra is delivery, set per suburb at checkout. See your suburb's fee.

Cancellation and weather

If the weather turns unsafe on the day of your hire we'll cancel and credit you 50% of the hire fee, valid for 12 months. With our optional Castle Guarantee added at booking, weather cancellations get a full credit. If you need to cancel, we credit on a sliding scale based on how much notice we have.
